Markerstudy Insurance Company Limited is regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission and subject to a limited regulation by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority in respect of underwriting business in the UK (No. 206322).
Features of A19 Taxi Insurance
Taxi insurance is a legal requirement, and A19 taxi insurance can provide cover for public and private hire drivers. They can also provide easy monthly payment options to spread the costs of cover.
- 24 hour claims helpline : Taxi insurance claims team that are available 24h hours each day, to get you quickly back on the road and earning money
- Uninsured driver promise : A19 taxi insurance is provided by Markstudy. The Markstudy policy comes with a promise to refund the cost of your excess and restore your no claim’s bonus if the accident is caused by an uninsured motorist.
- Exclusive rates : Whilst A19 do not publish their taxi insurance rates, they claim to have access to exclusive arts from Markstudy that are not available to other insurance providers in this sector.
- Public Liability : PL is included in that Standard taxi insurance available with A19 insurance. PL insurance will protect from claims by passengers or other third parties for injury or theft of property.
- Additional Optional Extras : You can include additional extras for a replacement vehicle during repair or additional cover to cover any legal expenses.
A19 Taxi Insurance Vehicle Conditions
A19 will not insure vehicles that fail to meet the following qualifying criteria.
- Taxi value below £40,000 with no more than 9 seats
- Proposed vehicle not previously judged to be a write-off
- No modifications from original spec
- Must be registered to you or under a long term lease
- At the moment, they o not provide cover for all electric taxi’s
A19 Driver Conditions
- Age 25 or over and below 69
- Held full GB licence for 2 years and have been resident for 3 years.
- No modifications from original spec
- Have at least 6 months experience at providing a taxi service
- Not more than one CCJ, IVA, Bankruptcy, Trust Deed in past 6 years.
- Made no more than 2 fault claims in the past 5 years, and no more than 3 claims in total in the past 5 years
